Evening gang,

Short post tonight, but I wanted to get
this out tonight seeing its the last night
of June! So WELCOME to July!
Tonight I have an alpha, with a lace pattern,
numbers, puncuation and ornaments included.

LOL...I just saw the comment that was left
under my last freebie asking about the kittens..
Thats so sweet of you to ask. The kittens are
doing well, in fact, they all have homes now.
The same woman took all 3, she felt bad about
breaking them up, so she decided to take all
3..I couldnt believe it! I even told her that I
would help with food and whatnot, but
apparently she is financially ok and said it
wouldnt be a problem. She recently retired
and owns a small home with plenty of room.
It's only her there in the house and she wants
the kittens for companionship. I couldnt have
found someone like her in a million years if
I had to! And the funny thing is...it was all
on the spur of the moment. My daughter and
I were picking up my grandson the last day
of school when a friend of ours came by and
asked about the kittens, the woman over-heard
us and asked if she could come and see the kittens.
So we came to my house and it was instant love
for her! How can anyone refuse a kitten!!!
She got a kick out of how they all followed
one another like a row of ducklings..lol
The Mom of the kittens is now spayed thanks
to The Friends of Animals and Just for Strays.
Organizations who help if and when they can.
One of the teachers at the school is affliated
with those organizations and she arranged
to have Minnie spyed for us. I wish more
people cared for animals in the world...
there's far way to many being tossed out
because they arent "cute" anymore. OK
I said it was going to be a short post, right?

Thank you for asking about the kittens..
we miss them but we can see them when
we want, she doesnt live too far from us.

Hiya gang!

I hope you are having a great weekend and all
is well with you all. Things have been busy with
the end of school and work. One of the jobs I have
is in a florist, arranging and delivery, and with
graduation and weddings..this is one of our busy
times as you csn imsgine.
Tonights freebie is a pretty gold leaf alpha and I
included some "extras" in the zip. I didnt do numbers
or punctuation this time because I wanted to get a
freebie out this evening.

Satin Gold Alpha

Hiya Gang,

I forget using Firefox is a PIA when
trying to post here. Anyways....
My daughter bought a pool, its 13ft x 4ft
and we managed to get 2 days out of it.
Yup..the pool is no longer...we had a few
night swimmers and they went "wild"
in the pool! Oh, we got them on photo
still in the pool after they destroyed it.
I am posting the pic belowfor the world to
see why you dont want an above ground
pool. I want to let you know about the
alpha..its a satin gold alpha and I added
some frames and numbers and a few embellys.
You can if you want colorize them, they will
come out a nice soft color.
For those who are new, you use the Colorize
feature or you can use the Hue, Saturation
and Light feature, either way it will be nice.

OK, I switched to IE so I can post the pic
of the pool and culprits:

Here is the pool on the 1st day, the yard is
on a slight slant and we opted to fill it so far
so my grandson can enjoy it a little better:


And now...The CULPRITS!!!!!
This was taken at 5am


Yup...thats them alright! They swam, they
played with the floaties and just when the
fun was really getting started......POP!
First was the floaties, then it was the pool!
So we ended up with a large round tarp
and a saturated yard! Thus why an under-
ground pool is better!...lol

Hi Gang,

How's things gouing for ya? I hope all is well.
Well, things are ok here, we had a quick and wild
thunderstorm yesterday, I caught some of it on
video..but the real neat thing was..I go down to
my porch to make sure things didnt blow off of
it and when I open my door.....right smack in
front in the middle of the sky was this big, bright
rainbow! It was so bright I couldnt beieve it! And
from my porch, it looked as if the ends of it went
all the down pass the trees..I have seen rainbows
(who hasnt..LOL) but in all my life, I have never
seen one quite like this..yes..I got it on video and
took some stills of it. Look under the freebie and
you will see the video I took, the voices you hear
in the video is my grandson telling his mother
that he's going upstairs to get his "cali gears"
(in our days, they were called clogs..lol)
I hope you enjoy the vidoe as much as I do.
Its a real shame that life has everyone so caught
up, that noone hardly ever stops to admire these
wonderful perks from Nature. What a pity!

OK..about the alpha..its a leafy cardboard alpha.
and I left it plain so you can embellish as you please.
I was going to do some embellishing on them, but
I thought it would be better to leave them plain
so you can customize them for your LO.
I still might embellish them and do a repost
of them..just depends on time.

I apologize for not posting these last night,
but we had a power outage and we didnt get
power back until 1:30 pm this afternoon.
That was the fourth one this week alone!
It isnt even Summer yet and we are having
this stuff going on already. Very annoying!


We have been having these wicked storms
lately, very wild stuff. I love it!
The lightening was amazing, like I have
never seen before...beautiful!
But like everything in life..with a little
beauty comes a little pain...in this case,
the pain is in the rear!...lol

Tonights freebie....

Tonights freebie will be posted tomorrow..
I just got home from a stay at the hotel..
No not a vacation, more like a forced decision.
The storm we had was wicked and beautiful at
the sametime. We were watching the lightening
and the winds kicked up something fierce..then
it happened! A big 'ol tree fell and it landed where
else but on the wires and knocked out the electric
and with the electric went air conditioners, phone
and most important, my computer! So we lit candles
and continued watching the storm...after about a half
hour...my kitchen ceiling fell in..water everywhere!!!
We cleaned things up, blew out the candles, grabbed
a few things and off to the hotel we went.
I packed up my laptop and did some scraps while at
the hotel, I dont have the laptop set up for the web (yet)
so I will have to transfer the scraps to my computer and
I will post them tomorrow for you. So please check back
tomorrow (Monday) to get your scraps..ok?
I hope you all fared out better than we did! And I hope
none of you are dealing with the flooding thats been
going on there.

Oh and I wish want to wish your hubbys and any other
daddys out there a .........

I usually never do this, but this is, IMO a special
case. I ask you to sign the petition to stop this
mentally disturbed man from continuing with his "art".

2007 took the "artist" Guillermo Vargas Habacuc a dog
from the street in Managua, Costa Rica, tied him with
a rope in an artgallery and starved him to death. For
several days, both the "artist" and the visitors stood
calmly and watched the dog suffer, until he finally died.
He wrote quotes on the wall, in dog kibbles, like "You
are what you read".

Do you think the pictures below shows a piece of art?
The prestigeous "Visual Arts Biennial of Central America"
believe it is and the "artist" has been invited to repeat
his horrible cruelty to an animal at the 2008 show.

Please help to stop him. A petition can be signed, and has
been signed by 1382114 when I write this. The link:

An assortment of key tags.

Welcome to June! I have for you tonight
a dozen asst'd key tags, done with notepaper
ontop of cardboard and a few are notepaper
ontop of a textured paper. Asst designs and
I left room on them so you can personalize
them with text. I still havent figured out
a good way of making a string or cord, other-
wise I would have included one for you.
