Perfect for a 1st Anniversary

Hiya gang,

How was your week so far? I hope it finds
you all in great spirits! I thought it would be
fitting to post papers tonight, seeing how
traditionally thats what you get for a 1st
anniversary, right? I titled them...
"Papers times 5"..strange, right?..lol
well, its because there are 3 desiugns
in 5 colors..see?...lol Even if you arent
looking for papers, there are some "extras"
included, so you may find them useful.

I would like to ask a favor of all of if you
dont mind..I am interested in knowing
what size papers, elements and alphas
would you like? Should I just make 3
different sizes? Or one large size and this
way it easier to scale it down than it is to
up size it? I am not sure yet, but I am
thinking about putting some sort of poll
but lets see how the replies are, first.
I know its a pain sometimes to deal with
polls and questioneers...I cant stand them
myself...but I do see why they are needed.
I'd like to be able to make what you guys
enjoy downloading...nothing worse then
downloading, opening and then realizing
its not what you thought it would be.
See, I originally did sigs and tags, much like
everyone else starting out, so my mind set
is basically making these LO's for posting,
my printer is from 1999, so you can imagine
how my prints come out..so I just make my
LO's to post..I dont know how my scraps
come out when they are printed so if anyone
has done that yet, I could really use your
insight. OK....on with the freebie...

The last alpha for the Month of July!

Evening gang,

Well, here we are, at the end of yet another month!
Its incredible how fast time is going by! Its scary!
Tonight I have an alpha I named "Metal"..because
it has gold and silver to it. I also included a couple
of small items to go with the alpha. Like 2 paperclips,
a beaded wire and on one of the puncuatation files, you
will see at the bottom a staple with holes included.
You will just select around the staple and copy and
paste as usual.
Tomorrow will be the anniversary freebie! I figured
it was better to just give it at the end of the month.

Hiya gang!

How's things going for ya? I hope this
weekend finds you all well.
I had one heck of a time getting into
my Blogger acct. I dont know why, but
it kept telling me the info I was signing
in with was wrong. I know, I know...
maybe I was typing it in wrong..but no,
I checked it over and over and even had
my daughter sign into the acct for me, but
it kept saying the info was wrong, and I had
to end up changing my paswword..I guess
everything has its..PMS days...lol

Tonight, I have Quickpages for you. There
are 6, 4 in one design and 2 in another.
I also included a couple of "extra" things

Hi Gang!

Well, well FIOS is set up and I ran and
got the new ethernet card this morning.
I want to Thank those who gave the thumbs
up about it! I do like it, in fact, the speed seems
a bit faster than cable! I believe cable cut the
speed so they can accommodate the service
for businesses. I have been noticing for awhile
that it was getting slower, downloads, uploads,
and opening pages was getting ridiculous!
The only thing now is getting used to where
all the channels are! Heck, I didnt even know
where all the cable channels were! I tell you,
cable company has some nerve, they really do!
Do you want to know what I was paying a month
for cable? ready to have a heart attack?
$220.00 a month! I had double hookups of
TV's and internet plus one phone hookup.
Mind you, double hookups for 200 bucks breaks
down to about 100 bucks each...but I am paying
80 bucks less a month for just about the same
with FIOS, difference is...I have 3 TV hookups,
and 3 computers and a laptop online plus phone
and not to mention...I even have several extra
channels..movie channels that is! So I am getting
nuch more for 80 bucks less, who wouldnt make
the switch?! Get this....I had called cable a few
months ago and asked if there was something
they can do for us as far as giving a break..
I wasnt looking for a whole lot, just something.
The person told me that there was NO Way
that we were already getting a break..but we
actually werent..but thats another story in itself.
But when I called Friday to let them know to
disconnect me, all of a sudden they are offering
me my same package for 114 bucks a month!
Why?...cause they dont want to lose another
customer, well, they should have thought about
that sooner! Now they want to give me a break?!

Ok, enough about them...and onto you.
I have tonight the last of the stain glass,
an alpha, I made them as charms, but I
left them large so you can use them as is
or you can resize them to put on your favorite
wire or ribbon. I also made a chain with a ribbon
so you can make your own charm bracelet.
See how you like these, let me know..ok?
lately I have been unhappy with the fonts,
they are done very "sloppy" and makes using
the filters difficult. Anyways...here's the

Hi, Please read this...

Hi gang

I just wanted you all to know that I am
writting this on my friends computer.why?
I have no connection to the net right now,
I had FIOS installed and so far everything
is going ok, except, that is...my internet..
apparently my Ethernet card is no good
and I have to get another one.
I will be getting one tomorrow morning and
be online.
I was on a roll with the stain glass stuff and
As things would have it..I wont be able to
post it until tomorrow.

The FIOS is a nice service, it will take abit to
get use to as far as the new remote control and
knowing where the channels are that we use.

I will tell you this, for the money you cant go wrong!
I am getting the same service as I had with cable, plus
a few more channels, and because of the wireless router,
we will have 4 computers online, with cable we had only 2.

As far as the picture on the tv...great! the phone..great!
and as for the internet, I will have to let you know about
that tomorrow.

OK..I just wanted to let you all know what was going on
with me and my scraps, so come back tomorrow and
get the last part of the stain glass..ok?

Tell me, where does the time go?????
Its like you wake up, work and get home,
and I look at the clock and its 10 pm!
Geez! Why is it that we get slower and
not time?...Hmmmm...Life..its a quirky
thing! OK..here's 2 sets of corners which
is a one part of what I originally wanted
to post. To me, it reminds me of stain glass.
And if you run them thru the Hue/Saturation
and Lightness, they change color nicely, so
go and color if you want a different color.

A quick word...

Hiya gang,

I had promised to post something for you tonight,
I will have to do it tomorrow morning. See I have
company all week visiting from Louisiana and tonight
we went out to eat and just got back a short time ago.
But I promise you I will have it posted by morning,
I dont have time right now to make a preview and
upload and etc. I am fighting to keep my eyes open
as I type this.
So for now I will say good-night and see you tomorrow.

A nice see-thru alpha

Hi gang,

I wanted to post this earlier, but we had
a problem with cable just about all day.
Its such an inconvienance when it goes out.
Not only internet, but TV and phone too.
I pay a whopping $200.00 a month for
service and lately..I have been real unhappy
with the service. I dont care what anyone says,
but the speed of our internet has dropped.
I noticed the difference since they announced
their "broadband" service for businesses.
I truly believe they cut back on the service.
I dont know if I am making the right choice
here, but I am going to give that FIOS a try.
In my other apt I had Verizon DSL and as
far as I was concerned, it was just as fast as
cable. When we moved here, verizon wasnt
on this block so I had no choice but to go with
cable. Plus..lately the picture on the tv has been
pixelating and freezing..it happens way too often.
So we will see how this FIOS is, if it doesnt work
out, I will have to deal with cable...again.

OK..the freebie..its a See-thru alpha. It looks
real nice on a darker background, but you can
use it on certain light ones too. I put a text file
in the zip with some info about the alpha..ok?
To me it, when a light drop shadow is applied
it kind of looks like a gauze or a sheer curtain.
I am so horrible with explaining things, but
you will see what I mean when you use it.
Here is a preview, the preview shows it
with a drop shadow and without one so
you can see what it will look like. There is
no drop shadow on the alpha.

Another alpha!

How are you all doing? I hope this post
finds you all doing well. Been keeping
cool? Its been very hunid these past days.
and working in it is getting harder and harder.
Dont get me wrong...I love the Summer and
I usually dont mind the heat, but as time
goes on..my body just wont allow me to
deal with hot, humid weather. I guess
thats what we have to put up with age : (

For those who dont know what "blackletter"

sets of corners, 5 sets of brackets, numbers
and just a couple of puncuation marks.
There were only a couple of puncuation
marks in the font, so thats why there
isnt much of them.

Well...Happy 4th everyone! I hope
you were out BBQ'ing today! It certainly
was a beautiful day for it, thats for sure!

If you're doing fireworks tonight for the
kids..please..stay safe! I am going to try
and get some pics of the fireworks that
I see every year right from my porch.

My house sits up high and my porch has
a beautiful view of the city where I live,
and so every year we get quite a show
from around the whole city, there is
usually so much going on, that you dont
know where to look! So hopefully I will
get some nice shots.

This month marks my first anniversary
of sharing my scraps, so lets see where
this will take us!
