Another Freebie..!!!

Hi gang..

I hope everyone had a nice week so far. Mine had a great start!
My son came with the kids and I am so happy that I cant hardly type!

You see they live in Wisconsin and I am here in NY, so visits are too
far apart..heck..who can afford to do all that traveling?..Not me.
I have 4 grandchildren..The oldest one who just turned 6 on the 21st
of August lives here with his mom (my daughter) and me. My son as I
mentioned above lives too far away as far as I'm concerned. But thats
just a mom missing her oldest ((sigh)). He has 3 children, a son and
a set of twin girls, all toddlers!
And he drove from Wisc. to be here for my grandson's birthday, (the
grandson who is here with me) I know sometimes it seems confusing, right?

The last visit was when the girls were 5 months old..Oh..how I didnt want
them to leave! If I could, I'd have all my children and grandchildren here
with me...who doesnt want their children and grandchildren to be near?!
So..needless to say.....it's going to be hard to let them go when the time comes.
Which will be Sunday evening...((I am almost crying already!))

OK..I guess I tortured you guys enough with my little banter...
I have something I hope you will like..they are my "Ribbon Doodles"
There are 2 sets..they are approx. 550x450 pixels in size.

I made only this preview to give you an idea of what they look like:



Here is a little detail:






Just so you know, in set one I made only one
ribbon doodle in the Rose bundle, and there
is one Heart shape ribbon doodle too.
The rest are all in the leaf shape, even in the
second set. They are all different as far as
the colors and patterns used.
I started off using the rose bundle, and then
I gave the Heart a try, I decided to go with
the leaf shape and threw the rose and heart
in to get some feedback.
If you need to recolor or resize them I have
no objections at all. OK..OK...here they are:

LO using my Embossed Suede kit

I totally forgoten that I used Embossed Suede to do this LO

of my pets...this gives a better idea of the textures.

Now in this LO I used a paper, and one of the flowers, but

thats basically enough to show it looks in a LO..

Tell me...isnt this worth a few words/opinions/input?
I'd really appreciate those words immensely!

I finally got it done....

Well, I finally put it together! I am talking about
my new kit! And while its not what I had originally
wanted it to be..I am ok with it, as I am sure you
will be too.

I call it....Embossed Suede...what does that tell ya!
The preview pic as usual doesnt do the kit justice,
but I think you will more than likely use something
from it, whether its a paper, a ribbon or element.
The sizes within the kit are:

Papers: 1200 x1200
Suede Flowers: 900 x 845
Suede Ribbons: 182 x 1200
Glitter Flower: 600 x 600
Beaded strand: 900 x 200
Ribbon charm: 478 x 505
Shiny flower: 216 x 217 (can be used as a brad/bead/eyelet)

I have another style of suede coming..I just need
to find the time to put it together, but I think
you will like the paper to this second kit!

Now..I say "kit", but I am not certain if I should
put papers,elements and etc seperate or if I should
go ahead and put a kit together.
Here is where I could use some input..personally,
I like things seperated..cause sometimes I dont
want the papers or backgrounds..mainly cause I
like to make my own, but the embellishes and
other elements I do enjoy getting, heck..there
are way more talented people out there than me!
So, yea..I enjoy the elements most.

So if you dont mind taking the time to tell
me what you like and how you like to get them,
I'd be more than happy to oblige!

August 3rd....what a wild night! weather wise that is!
We had a nasty or should I say nice Lightening and
Thunder storm happening. It was GREAT!!
Yeah..I love that kind of stuff. Yeah, I like walking
in the rain too. I took out my digital camera, and set
it to the video setting and got some of the action.
I was a bit upset, for some reason, my camera
which has the sound feature, didnt get the action
that I thought it caught. I ran and got my daughters
camera and got some action, but no sound (sigh)
The sound would have given a better perspective
on the intensity of the storm. These images really
makes it look like an average rain storm.


But its worth a look anyways..I hope you enjoy
