A short blurb or two..

I started the day feeling very depressed..its everything,
its nothing, you know? So I pulled out my CD's and threw
them in the system and cranked them up! And I do mean
cranked! All the volume..maxed!
Wanna know what I threw in?...

woo-hoo..now if that line up doesnt cheer you up a
bit...well..I guess you have to be into this type of
music....lol I am however feeling a little better now
that I saw all the really nice comments that were left.

I am so pleased that the comments left were all
so positive! I really would love to see how the
items were used. With all the talent out there,
maybe you guys can post a link or two where
we all can see the lovely LO's you have done.

Well....off I go..Mr. Al Green is about over and
its time to put in more disks!...

Some new freebies...

Hiya and hope you all had a great week!
We have rain today, which is always nice..yup..

I'm a real live love-to-walk-in-the-rain person..lol who isnt!
What I like about the rain on a Sunday is that it makes it a more
relaxing day. One doesnt feel too gulity about "lazing around"
and getting nothing done when its a rainy type of day!
Sunday is my one day off..of everything! Well, not everything,
I do get to play with graphics in a non-guilt way.

I did go into the yard and do some gardening things this morning,
I was out there at 5:45am playing in the dirt...lol

OK..I made some more beads..I got alot of good reviews from
the other groups I belong to, they did like them and so I thought
I'd do a few more. I dont want to do overkill on my beads. I do
enjoy making them though. I have tried a few times to make a
rope or chain of some kind so they can be strung, but I havent liked
any of the ways it would come out. I will keep trying! Hopefully I
will find something I like soon.

I also made some paper clips..hopefully these will come off with
good reviews as well. So...here are the beads and clips.
There are 32 clips in the zip, the preview is only a couple just
so you can get an idea of what they look like, keep in mind that
they are all done in different patterns..there are like 3 Egyptian
design clips you may like..I know I do! Poke thru the zip, I am
sure you will find and use at least a few of them!

A word about my Glitter Flowers..

Hi..

I just wanted to mention that my glitter flowers below are
sized at 400 pixels..so on a 3600 x 3600 paper..its way too
small..its ok for using a brad or something like that, but with
it being that small it loses its appearance.
They can be sized a bit larger, but thats up to you to see what
size works best for you. I apologize for that.
I should know by now that doing things when your exhausted
never works out.
I will make them larger for 3600, 2400 and 1800 pixel size
papers, so please check back soon.
They are great to use on the images you post in the forums,
cause usually those images are around 500 pixels in size.
So they are perfect if you make your scrap images just to post
in the forums. I know there are alot of us out here who do that,
just post our work in forums and groups.
Sometimes making the scraps in those larger sizes and then
resizing them to fit forum rules can often make your hard
work go down the drain.
So when I want to make a page to print, I use those larger sizes,
but if I am only doing challenges and whatnot, then I do mine
at around 500 - 600 pixels in size.
So I hope it is of some usefulness to some of you.

So keep a watch for those larger glitter flowers! They will be soon!
(maybe this weekend!)

A notation and a...... Thank you..

*FIRST....a little notation:

I'd like to apologize to anyone who tried to
download my "Painted Stripes" beads. It
was brought to my attention that clicking
the link brought up the dreaded "This file
something or another blah, blah copywrite
yada,yada" page..it had nothing to do with
any copywrite..it had to do with the name
of the file..it had the word "Stripes" and I
guess 4shared filters picked up that word
as "Strip" and considered it to be a "bad"
file. I had that same problem with my
butterfly kit posted previously, I wrote
to the support people and they told me
about the file name filter..they suggested
that I rename the file, and I did and sure
enough..that dreaded page went bye-bye.
So for those putting files up on any site,
please watch what you name it.
I didnt want anyone to think I was
breaking anyones copywrite stuff.
So the "painted stripes" file has been
renamed so if anyone missed getting
it due to that silly page, please try it
again. I am sorry for any inconvienance.

And now..the real reason for this posting..........

This post is reserved for the wonderful people out there
who were so nice to leave such encouraging words about
the beads..I want to say Thank you..
and I do mean THANK YOU..! for taking the time to leave
your replies and I hope you find many uses for those beads.

OK..One last thought here..

I have been thinking about this for awhile now, and I know
I am not the first..but here what I'd like to know...
When making scrap items..everyone uses them in sizes
like 3600x3600, 2400x2400 and 1200x1200.
But if there are others like myself who enjoy doing
the pages in sizes just for forums..if I should size
the pieces for us. When posting Layouts in forums,
it usually has to be resized to about 500x500 or
600x600. So I am leaning towards making these
sizes available. I also know that alot of people
are on dialup or have a limited amount of RAM
and Hard drive size and working with these
huge files sends the computer into freezer-world.
So for others to enjoy doing scrappin without
the computer freezing or storage space...I am
willing to include those sizes as well.
This subject will be continued.

OK gang...there they are..all 21 bead styles.
Included with each is a gold "spacer" bead.
You more than likely will want to resize the
spacer as needed.
It does look nice at this size with several of
the beads, but there are a few beads that the
spacer would look nice smaller.

For now I want to get this posted..this is what I have prepared so far.
These are just 4 of my bead collection. These beads are all done by me
using my graphic programs.
I use a couple of different ones depending on what I am doing or how I
am feeling that day.
Hmmm..maybe the reason why I am sporatic?...you think?..lol

A-ha..!!! I got it working now..heh,heh,heh....
what a douf I am! I was driving myself nuts with this silly editor,
getting annoyed and all that..then it hit me! I spotted that stupid
"Compose" link...yeah, I did see it, but I thought it was just there
to let me know that I was in "Compose mode"...lol
what a "maroon"...like Bugs Bunny used to say!...lolololololol
I have my fingers crossed that these previews do my beads
justice.

O-O-O-O...about the beads..(would'a be nice if I mentioned this
in the first post, huh!)


They are 300 pixels by 150 pixels in size. I left them in this size
to (hopefully) be OK for 2400x2400 - 3600x3600 scrap papers.
Of course they can be resized if need be. They are in PNG format.
In the folder I included a gold "spacer", which you will probably
like to resize to go with the bead.
See why feedback is so important!

The rest I will post tomorrow..I have like 17 more styles..!
